After the period that we have been closed to the public, the Municipal Library, Álvaro de Campos, will open, from May 19, initially between 9:30 am and 1:00 pm with limited access to the services provided.
Reopening of municipal cultural Services
Users may, from this date, return and request the loan of documents, in person, by e-mail: biblioteca@cm-tavira.pt or telephone contact 281 320 585, indicating the desired document (title and author), the reader number and / or full name. Prints can be made, you may send the request by e-mail or bring the documents on a pen drive. All solutions for digital use will be privileged.
A service of partial digitisation of documents that integrate the documentary collection is made available, whereby requests are made by phone or e-mail, and we will schedule a date to fulfil the request.
It is not permitted to enter and remain in the library, only two people may enter at a time, with no access to the shelves or computers. Only the reception will be accessible, providing assistance and the available services
In order to ensure security in the requisition / return process, the borrowed documents will be properly packed and the documents originating from return will be subject to a quarantine period, and cannot be requested within the next 7 days.
The conditioned opening of the Library is being carried out in accordance with the COVID-19 infection prevention and control measures indicated by the municipal Health and Safety at Work team and by the competent authorities, including the General Health Directorate (DGS).
